Hi, I’m Sandra Connell—but you can call me Sandi. As a longtime esthetician and retired spa owner, my journey to create Get Good Juju was born out of necessity during one of the most challenging times of my career.

When COVID-19 shut down the aesthetics industry in California, many of us had to think outside the box to keep our businesses afloat and support our families. After nearly 30 years in the spa industry, I had always received compliments from clients about how incredible my spa smelled. Friends and clients would often say, “You should bottle this scent!”—so I finally listened.

For years, I had been using my own custom essential oil blends to enhance treatments, shift moods, and create a calming, inviting atmosphere. Whether it was the crisp aroma of eucalyptus and lavender or a warm, comforting blend during flu season, these scents weren’t just fragrances—they were transformational tools for wellness.

When the pandemic hit, I knew it was time to take those recommendations seriously. I went all in—ordering bottles, caps, heat seals, labels, and gallons of essential oils (yes, gallons!). The learning curve was steep, and I wasted plenty of materials perfecting the bottling and blending process, but the effort was worth it.

Today, Get Good Juju is a testament to resilience, creativity, and the power of aromatherapy. What started as a personal passion has now evolved into a trusted brand for spas, estheticians, massage therapists, and wellness professionals. I am proud to now offer custom-blended essential oils for treatment rooms, helping professionals create soothing, sensory-rich environments that elevate their services.
