Bright Awakening No. 3, formerly known as our Citrus Blend, is a vibrant blend of citrus essential oils accented with fresh spearmint, created to bring a bright, refreshing aromatic experience to everyday rituals and professional treatment environments.

Sweet orange, blood orange, lemon, tangerine, grapefruit and mandarin combine with a touch of spearmint for a fresh, lively citrus aroma. Designed for both professional treatment environments and at-home rituals, Bright Awakening is especially suited for diffusion, aromatic shower rituals, hot or cold body-treatment towels, and properly diluted topical body use.

• Diffuse to refresh treatment-room airspace.

• Incorporate into properly prepared hot or cold towels for body treatments only — not for facial use.

• Body Massage: Dilute Bright Awakening to 1% in an appropriate carrier oil before applying topically to the body. For body use only — not for facial use. Never apply undiluted to the skin.

WHY 1% FOR TOPICAL BODY USE?

Tisserand Institute provides a general 1–3% essential oil dilution guideline for body oils and massage. However, citrus essential oils may have additional phototoxicity restrictions. Tisserand identifies a maximum concentration of 2% for lemon oil and 4% for grapefruit oil in finished topical preparations to reduce phototoxicity risk.

Get Good Juju recommends a conservative 1% total dilution for topical body use. And always perform a patch test first.

For external use only. DO NOT INGEST. NEVER APPLY UNDILUTED TO THE SKIN. For topical body use, dilute Bright Awakening to 1% in an appropriate carrier oil. Not for facial use.

PHOTOSENSITIVITY CAUTION: This blend contains citrus essential oils, including lemon and grapefruit, which may increase sensitivity to UV exposure when used topically. Avoid exposing treated skin to direct sunlight, tanning beds, or other sources of UV radiation following topical application.

Avoid eyes and mucous membranes. Keep out of reach of children. Discontinue use if irritation occurs. Store in a cool, dark place.
